The 8th Ethnosport Cultural Festival, held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport to bridge traditional cultures with the modern world, concluded following a spectacular four day marathon. Hosting hundreds of thousands of visitors from diverse geographies, the massive festival’s music- and culture-filled stage drew immense acclaim, courtesy of the artist bookings managed by WOVO.
Organized by the World Ethnosport Confederation between May 21–24, the festival made headlines not only with its sports competitions but also through its rich cultural and artistic activities. Serving as a common meeting point for global cultures, the festival stage offered participants an unforgettable musical feast, featuring world-renowned and esteemed names brought together by WOVO.
Performing throughout the festival, WOVO artists, each a pioneer in their respective genres, united as one heart with the tens of thousands of music lovers filling Atatürk Airport:
Kıraç, the legendary figure of Anatolian rock music, carried the festival’s enthusiasm to its peak with his powerful vocals and timeless songs.
Ekin Uzunlar, the strong and authentic voice of Black Sea music, infused the crowd with immense energy through his kemençe and dynamic performance.
Ay Yola, blending the mesmerizing, mystical rhythms of Central Asia with modern sounds, built a cultural bridge that took listeners on a historical journey.
Dimash Qudaibergen, the world-renowned Kazakh artist who captivates global audiences with his unique vocal range and flawless performance, took the stage as one of the brightest international stars of the festival.
